The CDRA Easter Egg Hunt is 20!

Make sure you put this date in your diary, Saturday 4th April, starting from 1pm, at the Turnpike Inn.

It’s the Connor Downs Residents’ Association’s 20th annual Easter Egg Hunt, first held in the Elizabeth Sampson Playing Field back in 2007. Instead of tokens, we had multi-coloured pieces of pasta to hunt for to win a prize. I think the birds always looked forward to the day after the hunt.

This year tokens are £1 each or 6 for £5 and are only available on the day. There will be a special section for pre-school children 4 & under.

Our crack team of egg hunt organisers is already on the case, ensuring that everything is all ready for this great annual funday.

To ensure there are prizes available for the event, the Easter eggs are being stored in a secure location, and, as an additional precaution, some members of the committee have been fitted with muzzles until the day of the event.
